:hmmm:

They should feel pretty good.

Yeah.

Because of this joke, we will lose by 4 TDs instead of 3.

One of the store receivers that I deal with every day is an Eagle fan.

He's a little concerned about the game because it is in Arrowhead, and because of McNabb's injury.

He's also worried that if the Chiefs run the ball up the middle and get a blocker on Trotter that it will be a long day for Eagle defenders.

Yeah, that was pretty bad. I'd suggest not showing your face around here anymore. Maybe create a new account and start fresh.

Running up the middle is key, IMO. I heard that the Chiefs have been playing offense as if Roaf wasn't out. I think that's a mistake, IMO. More runs up the middle and to the right are best, IMO. Plus, the Eagles are just too fast to do any tosses or stretch plays, IMO. Could be wrong. Hopefully we do whatever we want to them, running and passing. And hopefully our D stops them, too. I pray.

I think most Eagles fans are a little more concerned what will be happening with McNabb. We'd all like a win, of course, but probably won't be too surprised if the Eagles lose. Mainly, we don't want to see McNabb get hurt any worse than he already is. He was pretty confident during press conferences this week. He knows defenses are going to be gunning for him due to his injuries and feels he can handle it. Just hoping the O line can protect him enough. Hoping he doesn't get killed by the Chiefs. :( I doubt he'll play the whole game, either way.

We have no idea of what the new kicker is like and are just hoping he can make the PAT's (if there are any) and kick-offs okay. Anything has to be better than Simoneau coming out to doink one off of another players helmet or Bartrum squib kicking to the 50 yard line. :)

There's also the problem of Arrowhead and the crowd. Andy Ried brought in huge speakers and blared crowd noise all week during practice so the team could get used to silent counts. Hope it works.

Good luck to the Chiefs, I'm hoping there's no injuries on either team and please, don't kill our QB! :(

The Chiefs are doomed.

Rod Woodson on NFL Network said that the Chiefs defense isn't as good as it played the first two games and began the falling apart process last week in Denver. He said these are two teams going in different directions. He also said that the Eagles D is going to be too much for Trent and the offense.

Why even play the game?

Duh.

Last week the Chiefs defense wasn't as good as it played the first two games. Saying it was the beginning of a "falling apart process" can be filed next to Woodson's prediction that the Raiders would be a powerhouse this year...

I don't know about the fans, but Sam the Eagle is pissed that Reid wasn't better prepared for the David Akers disaster last week. He predicts impending doom for the Eagles at Arrowhead.

its gonna be a great game... If you think a LB on Westbrook is gonna work, you are in for a long game.... same with the Eagles, if we look past your TE we are in trouble.

Derrick Johnson is probably faster than anyone else we could put on Westbrook. :shake:

Derrick Johnson is probably just as quick as Westbrook.

He ran stride-for-stride with WRs in training camp.

He's quick enough.... the problem will be finding him and isolating him.

I had to look this up just to see...

And you're right. D Johnson runs the 40 in 4.55, Westbrook runs the 40 in 4.58.

There's no ****ing way Westbrook runs a 4.58.

One site I visited said 4.58, the other 4.57. Here's the NFL.com link:

Westbrook doesn't run a 4.58. And DJ is faster than a 4.55. Westbrook is definitely faster than DJ, but Derrick's probably the quickest guy we could put on him.
