I could say Star Wars sucks, but that wouldn't make it true. People have something called opinions which make statements like the one above I just quoted pretty damn stupid.

I actually disagree with that. I think he will have a lasting impact in the genre...

That being said...the idea of a shitload of people not listening to something 30 years later isn't a very good bar for whats good or not. There is a lot of good stuff that won't stand that kind of test.

Chill out GoCHiefs......I dont care for his music, but im not gonna say he sucks. Im not the person to judge the merits of whats good in rap music. I dont care for his politics, but im sure hes a fine musician from what ive heard from others.

I thought the bit with Mike Meyers was pretty funny.
I'm not big on hip hop either. My interest pretty much ends with Tone Loc and Doug E. Fresh. That's not to say I can't understand why others like it. All music has ongoing development. That's what keeps it vibrant. Same is true for jazz, C&W, rock n roll too.

BTW: The news with Horatio Sanz was a little strange. He's a funny guy, but I don't think he fits on the SNL Weekend Update .

Poehler is still there and funny as ever. Tina Fey just had a baby, so she will be gone for awhile. The hispanic chick is also fixing to burst as well. Shes about 8 months pregnant.
