From the looks of the radar, the rain has moved out of the KC area to the northeast.

Windy. That might help disrupt Philly's air attack a bit...

Ummm ... you realize we'll have to pass the ball today too, don't you?

Of course. But, Philly's offense revolves around the pass, while ours revolves around the run. Granted, the running game's been less than stellar so far, the weather still plays into our gameplan better than theirs...

Game plans are nice ... when they work. We planned to run the snot out of the ball at Denver.

Getting the picture yet?

No, can you please lay it out for me?

The point remains that the Chiefs have a better ground game than Philly, even with the injuries. Weather affecting passing is better for the Chiefs than the Eagles.

Perhaps you missed my point so please, pay careful attention this time.

GAME PLANS ARE NICE WHEN THEY WORK, HOWEVER, EVEN THE BEST LAID GAME PLAN CAN GO TO HELL IN A HAND BASKET SO RELYING ON THE WEATHER TO BE A FACTOR IN A GAME IS NOT A GOOD IDEA.

Clear now? :)

Who's relying on the weather? It was a simple statement that the weather plays better to the Chiefs' strengths, rather than Philly's. Not a difficult concept.

Let's try some simple logical reasoning...

Chiefs = run first
Philly = pass first

Wind = difficulty passing

Which team is most affected by a windy day?

How silly will you feel if Al game planned a passing attack and less running today? :p

Actually I do see us running the ball a lot, even on what's bound to be a semi-sloppy field after all the rain we had last night and this morning.

I'd be very surprised after last week, especially since the Chiefs #2 WR can't catch the ball. :banghead:

At home, we have to establish the run. The Chiefs passing attack is predicated on the run - play-action is easily our key to success in the passing game. With the poor WR corps, we'll get destroyed if we have to rely on drop-back passing, i.e. the Donx game...

I tend to think a sloppy field favors us...but who knows. The way I look at it I'd rather have Owens and our receivers both shut down than havea nice field for them to play it out equally on.
