Problem, Denver has something the Chiefs dont and that is a pass rush. Denver barely got to the old man Burnell all day. So my guess it that Washington will hand the Chiefs their 3 straight loss of the year.

damn straight...if our D, coming off a bye week, at home, can not keep them under 21 then we know the Defense is just another joke

sorry for the pessimsm, but even at a distance I can't believe we quit 2 games in a row...we have no character as a team, hence no consistency from quarter to quarter, game to game...super hi's and super lows...all adding up to another 7-9 or 8-8 year...awesome

I'm just a big a fan as anyone else, but we are a soft team so far this year, all around. Our head coach is soft, so that lingers down to the whole team. People can talk all they want about how a D-coordinator being a hardass will make the side of the ball different, but IMO, that starts with the head coach. I hated Marty, but I loved the tough assed defenses we had. I've never seen anyone be as soft on defense these past 4 years.

The Redskins just about did against that vaunted Denver defense in the rain. Would've been even more if they hadn't been robbed.

the Chiefs won't make the playoffs this year. If they tube this one, at home, against that mediocre O, it only gets tougher on the road against Miami and SD.

Disagree if you must, but this is a must-win game. After getting Roaf and Welborne back:

1. There is no reason the Chiefs won't have an effective running game that scores points and eats the clock.

2. There is no reason to not get the ball upfield to TG.

3. The Chiefs have no excuse for not getting points, even against a tough Skins' D.

There is no reason the Chiefs D can't hold the Skins O under 20 points.

After the morale-killing loss last week, I'm honestly surprised that no Chief has committed a misdemeanor or felony (they still have 6 days). But I firmly believe the Chiefs will turn it around this game, and will win at least one of the upcoming road games. That should set us up nicely for the Raiduhs coming to town.
