I was excited to see his version of the tomahawk chop in Week 1, and it was effective. But I haven't seen it since, and it scares me to think that the coaches may be telling him to not do it. From what I saw in the Jets game, he was still able to make tackles while chopping, so I saw no downside.

Whadd'ya think?

He forced a fumble in the Denver game. Wasn't really a tomahawk chop though.

I like the fact he goes after the ball, and he seems effective at it.

I just hope the 'tardedness of GROB didn't completely ruin our assistant coaches to the point they negate any talent we may have on defense...

I'm pretty sure I saw him trying to do it one of the times he tackled Owens. I doubt they're trying to coach him out of it, since it's one of the things they like the most about him, according to various interviews, etc. that I've heard.

No.

They're just teaching him to appreciate fine, California wines and classical music...

Dammit Lzen I just spent the last 25 minutes in a stupor staring at your sig. Now I'm late for lunch.

Watching the Eagles game replay on NFL Network it showed Johnson knocking the ball out of Owens hands with a strong uppercut. It was out of bounds though. But it was impressive.

I think he has been very consistant with his chops

Cool. I thought I saw it a lot the first game, and only rarely after that. Maybe it was just an opportunity thing. I hope he keeps doing it.

Ive seen the chop at least once in every game. it seems like thats just the way he wraps his tackles.
