I have a McFarlane Priest Holmes which, in error, has him wearing the red pants/ red jersey combo, looks weird, but cool.

White on white looked awful... like a bunch of Stay-Puft marshmallow men running around. To me it made the fact that the Chiefs have the McDonald's color scheme stand out further.

Will white pants help us play better? I like the contrast of the red against the white, but white on white didn't look bad either. Dallas always does. Tampa does sometimes (did today), not always. Houston does sometimes, same with Arizona. San Diego sometimes. That's all just off the top of my head

Actually if I'm not mistaken didn't Dick Vermeil start that? In the 81 NFC Championship game I believe... Philly was at home but chose to wear the whites to make Dallas wear blue. I know I've heard Dick Vermeil talk about that before. If he didn't start it he definitely made an exception for it when they played each other for the NFC championship.

Actually, I think the Chiefs began to wear the Red pants sometime after SuperBowl I (maybe in 1968?). I know they wore them in the 1969 season, as evidenced by the highlights of the AFL Championship game v. the Jets.

Stram contended he thought the look was more "coordinated". However, many folks tied to the Chiefs back in those days will tell you that Stram went to red pants due to superstition. He felt the white "away" pants could have been "bad luck".
