Dolphins | Taylor Injury Update
Mon, 17 Oct 2005 13:50:21 -0700

Harvey Fialkov, of the Miami Sun-Sentinel, reports Miami Dolphins DE Jason Taylor (foot) suffered a foot injury during Week 6 and was walking around the team's facility on crutches Monday afternoon, Oct. 17. Taylor will be re-evaluated Thursday, Oct. 20 and could be sidelined during Week 7. "As we expected it would, [there was] quite a bit of swelling and we're going to keep him off the foot for a couple of days,'' head coach Nick Saban said. "We'll evaluate his status later in the week which is probably Thursday before we can do that.'' Taylor could see his 86-game playing streak snapped this week due to the injury.

I know it isn't good football manners to root for a player's injury, but Taylor not being active on Sunday would have a huge effect on the game.

It's not rooting for an injury if he's already hurt.

We're rooting for him to STAY hurt.

If he's on crutches and they're waiting for the swelling to go down just to re-evaluate him, I don't see how he could be ready for Sunday.

Well the way they've been playing - individually shouldn't take any extra time.... so however you all want to do it.
