View Full Version : Federal law prohibits game from being shown on Friday nights?

I just called the NFL and I got this

They told me they cannot provide the game because of a federal law due to conflicting with high school football..

They cannot broadcast the game over 75 miles which KC and Topeka reside in.


Has anyone ever heard of this law?

It is a law. That is why there are only Sat games after college football is over. Here's the FCC contact info. Vent to them about giving a one-time exemption due to hurricane:
