I did not get to see the beginning of the game, I was wondering if Eric Warfield started the game, and is Dexter hurt?

I'm recording the game so I'll go back and see but it doesn't seem like we're as lame duck on pass D - but that may just be b/c its Miami we're playing

DV is senile and doesn't want the Chiefs to win, or something. We will never win another game...

Yeah, if only Vermeil would just stay out of it and let Gunther make the decisions.

After all, that 78-yard TD we just gave up was against Warfield.

Ht... Chiefs were in a cover 4... Warfield got burnt, (Surtain as well??) and Knight missed the tackle...

That was not just Warfields fault...

Warfield played a good game, IMO. I'm glad to have him back.

yeah- i don't faults Warfield on the long play - he went after the ball and knew he had help over the top - Knights the one that whiffed on the tackle....

Well... From what I saw (which wasnt much...) and I did not tivo it...

I can remember 44 getting burned twice:

1. In the endzone (Ferotte overthrow because of the pressure)
2. On the 77 yard TD

But the Pass D was much better tonight... I think we were more agressive, Surtain was on Chambers 80% of the time... no more soft zone (other than at the end of the 1st and 2nd half - thats where the fins did the most damage)

He got schooled on that endzone play, that receiver broke his f*cking ankles, lol. Thank god Gus was throwing the ball.

Okay, so let's just say Warfield sucked tonight, for the sake of argument.

He has to suck for another year and a half before he's been given the same chance to suck like McCleon has.

htis, I know you want another chance to say "I told you so", but so far I think Warfield has done enough to deserve another shot. It's not about you being right or driving home some point. It's about improving the defense.

They are, don't fall into his trap! :)

No surprise that Warfield jumps in and we play better, although it'll be a much tougher test next weekend...

I thought you guys were the same person??Heh, we may agree on a lot of things, but I don't really get where he's going with his defense of McCleon.

the nicest thing was, that 10 yard cushion crap was nowhere to be found.

there was still plays where they were playing 5 yards off - but we we're up big so keeping it in front was understandable - especially since we were blowing up their running game sans the long run. Overall I thought the CB's played above avg and the safety help was a little weak - letting defenders get deeper than them, missing tackles and not getting Brown out on his long run when it was very possible to
