Mike Kelly, though he has a great broadcasting voice, is awful. He's monotone an ridiculous in where he places his excitement, and he thinks he's a cheerleader. On every third down he (so subtly) asks, "How loud can the Mizzou crowd get here," or "We'll see if the 'Zou can make a difference here."

You know, I'm all for getting Daniel his time in games. But when you are rolling like the Tigers were in the first half, why take him out and completley grind your momentum to a halt because the other team can blitz them and confuse the freshman?
There are better times to work him in, I think.
Of course, this could open an entire can of worms on poor Pinkel decisions.

Damn, I thought Iowa fans were crazy. Check this out:

"I have to question the homerism of the refs today. On a number of occasions, there were some "interesting" penalties or no calls. On many a Brad Smith run there was a Missouri lineman or receiver with two fistful’s or Husker jersey. Holding was called just once on Mizzou throughout the game. How about the "intentional grounding" called on Taylor, despite the ball actually hitting RB Cory Ross? Or how about the no-call intentional grounding when Mizzou QB just got rid of the ball near no one? The "roughing the passer" on Tiedtke was another interesting call. They claimed it was helmet to helmet, however, on replays you could see Tiedtke's forearms contact Smith's chest and not a helmet to helmet shot. The hit was no later than any of a number of hits on Zac Taylor after a throw. These are just a few of the inaccuracies and unbalanced calls that went in Missouri's favor today."

Ahh, it's always the refs when you lose. Great stuff. A few calls here and there and Big Red rolls...

ROFL
Ha. Message board culture.

Nah, they will give me a ticket to do what I love. Photography. I have my heart set on a school thats just a bit to expensive for me. I am going do my time...get some training...get fit...get some skills. When I get out I have the money to get even more experience in the field I want to dedicate my life to. You know its called living your life.

We can't all sit around and live life through spite of other people. Thats not living. Thats hiding from a big world. To each their own though. Right buddy?
I've owned my own businesses for the last forty years. Convenience stores, Oil Wells, Car washes and video game routes. Right now it is a satellite installation company with 9 employees. You will never achieve any of the above. I wish you well but you obviously don't realize what the Air Force does to overweight dumbasses. I do. I spent 5 years with them. 1965-1970. In time, you will realize what a fat dumbass you are. The Air Force will show you whether you like it or not. But you might as well join because nobody else is going to hire a stupid fat kid. Especially one that is unable to identify someone like me that is vastly superior to you in intellect and physique. I'm not fat now and have never been fat. You are a loser. I hope the Air Force can correct that but I doubt it.

You are so superior to me that you sit rotting on a message board only enjoying spiting others.

If it makes you feel any better I would prob be like you if nobody cared wether I was alive or dead. We both know thats the case bud.

I am moving to be able to do what I love to do. And it won't involve being someones bitch that wants to watch TV.

Oh.... so you're here chastising skip for rotting away on a message board after he has displayed a post describing his accomplishments in life while you wait for the money to go to a concert? I do commend you for not asking dad for help. My daughters do that all the time.

I am chastising Skip for anything. I am not his father. I am making fun of Skip because his only joy is trying to spite people on this message board. I am also making fun of him for going so far out of his way to prove himself to someone who he tries to paint as so unworthy. I have met a lot of successful people in my life. None of them tried so hard to convince people of it. You could tell.

No chastising...just making fun of his rants laced with insecurity.

As an alum of MU, I WANT to believe but still can't.

Brad and the Boys are going to have a hard time scoring points in Lawrence next weekend.

The trip to Boulder is going to be a big test as well.

We'll see if Pinkel can keep his head out of his a$$ for 2 more weeks. I have my doubts.

Yeah, MU really hasn't beaten anyone yet. We played Texas and lost. We handled NU's supposedly great defense, but KU is another matter all together.

That is really pathetic. Act like we've been there before (we have) and we'll be there again (we will). I agree... it's a little embarrassing. I don't mind it so much when it's a really huge game... but it's not necessary every time we beat a decent opponent at home.

Least time we beat the Huskers... fine. This time... I could've done without.

Ok fellas,
I don't post as often as I should, but this has been one of the best football weekends I can remember. I'm in my 25th year as a Chiefs/Mizzou fan and this is as good as it gets. Just thought I'd thump my chest a little tonight. Sorry for bringing the thread up (ad nauseum) again. Carry on.

KcMizzou,

You live in my old stomping grounds. Graduated Park Hill High in 83'. I stop into Minsky's Pizza on I-29 and Barry Rd when I'm passing through.

Love Minsky's too. Once you've had it, it's tough to go back to Pizza Hut.

No, I meant me.

I'm a true fan, but not as sharp in football knowledge as some of the maniacs on this board. Got a lot of catching up to do.
