Pittsburgh is 3-2 and our closest competitor for the last wild card slot.

Cincinnati is 5-1 and our closest competitor for a first-round bye.

Who do you think we should root for?

Pittsburgh. I know the grandma of one of the players.

I'm pretty much indifferent, but I picked Pittsburgh just because I like seeing guys who are full of themselves like Chad Johnson get beat. I notice they haven't shown his "checklist" since they lost to Jacksonville! :D

The best would be for them to split. Since this one's in Cinci, I say go Cinci since Pitt should win at home.

My thinking is that we want Cincinnati to win if we don't think we can catch Denver in the standings due to their rampant cheating. We want Pittsburgh to win if we think we can catch Denver, since that would help knock them out of the playoffs and ensure that our linemen don't get cooking spray all over their hands.

So what you're saying is; why in the hell are we even talking about this game?

I don't know, 5% is a pretty big effect for one game not involving a team in our division.

Other than the Denver and SD games, this is probably the biggest one for us today.

Yeah, you've got to take your gains where you can get them. They add up over the weeks. Frankly, making the playoffs would be fine, but to have a good chance at The Enchilada, we need to get a bye. So I'm gonna root for the Steelers and for the measley 2% better chance of getting the bye.

That and because the Steelers are pulling away anyway.

I'm rooting for the Steelers, since I picked them to beat the spread in my weekly picks that I participate in at one of my stops, and the spread is only one point.
