— Starting today, the secondary is of primary concern for the Oakland Raiders.
Charles Woodson and Derrick Gibson, two players who filled key roles in the defensive backfield, each suffered an injury in the first quarter Sunday during a portion of the season in which the Raiders must reel off a signifcant amount of wins if they have any hope of making the postseason.

Gibson left with a left wrist injury suffered on Buffalo's first touchdown with 6:37 to play in the first quarter of the Raiders' 38-17 win over the Buffalo Bills at McAfee Coliseum.

Woodson had to be helped off the field a little more than two minutes later after a tackle of Willis McGahee.

Coach Norv Turner's preliminary report was not optimistic. He said Gibson's left wrist was believed to be dislocated and Woodson had a fractured lower right leg.

If Turner's estimation of "six to eight weeks" is correct, the Raiders will be without both players for road games at Tennessee and Kansas City, a home game against Denver, a road game at Washington and a home game against Miami.

And that's if it's just six weeks.

Wow. The Packers' season is taking water and going down fast. They're still better off than Hoover, though.

Who the heck do the Packers have left, anyway? Walker's out... I think Ferguson got hurt yesterday, now Green is done. It's basically down to Favre and Driver.
