"We hear the Packers are smitten with practice-squad RB Samkon Gado, a 5-10, 226-pounder claimed from the Chiefs last week. One scout said Gado, who attended Liberty, runs a 4.43 40-yard dash, 4.13-second short shuttle and has serious upside, and he even called Gado the next Willie Parker."

Dammit Carl!! :cuss: :banghead:

Maybe the next Derrick Blaylock.

We should have kept this guy.

He can run circles around Priest and LJ.

Maybe the next Derrick Blaylock.

If he had that much going for him I would think we would have kept him.

IMO he could be the next Samkon Cloud.

:hmmm:

Man I bet the Packers are glad they are 1-5 allowing them to grab the talented back if the Texans passed on this great talent.

Since the Packers were able to "steal" Gado from us, they don't feel so bad about the 4th and 5th rounders they pissed away on Truluck last year.

Or the pick they gave us for Derek Combs the year before. ROFL

We've sent some quality defensive ends to the Packers over the years, namely Vaughn Booker... :D

I kept reading his name in almost all preseason camp reports. I think we should have kept to play in NFLE. Have a sickening gut feeling he's gonna be good. If Priest does not retire next year, I wouldn't be surprised if LJ is offered in a trade for a solid young player in a position of (rebuilding) need. Then Gado could have come in handy.

Priest whether he retires next year or not, will used to give LJ a breather. LJis young and on the upside. he wont be traded.
