As it has been confirmed it was a false rumor and thankfully so. Thats the last time I post on a word from the "inside". And it was not from Nick Athan as some of you had speculated. I won't say who but obviously he was trying to stir something up for himself. Won't happen again.

Anybody know how to defeather and cook a crow?

No biggie. Unless something is ultra-serious or in really poor taste, I think it's best to "let fly" with the appropriate caveats. Lord knows I've passed along some really speculative and ultimately false crap in my time. (One exception...I saw a post on an ASU board reporting Tillman's death the day before it was announced. I figured that's the kind of thing you don't pass along unless you know damn well it's true.)

Hey, its stuff like that keeps this place interesting. Just post stuff like that as a rumor and I see no problem with it at all.

You didn't try to pass your post off as "fact" or "breaking news".

You said it like it was -- somebody with the Chiefs told you that LJ was in the hospital. You were very clear that it was both unconfirmed and rumor.
