I haven't really seen much of him when he played...I know he's hurt now, but is he good?

He's better now than when he was playing.

Is he good? He's raw, untested, unproven, etc etc. When he actually got to play, he was good for a Pass Interference penalty.

Well i saw that he was 6-2 - pretty tall for a CB - anyway just wondering

Very, very raw and iffy weather he will ever be a good CB or just another guy who should have sayed at safety.

Yeah.
He also says that Hicks is a great DE and defensive leader.

So. I'm guessing Battle sucked balls.

I trust his judgement. Making Jared Allen #2 RE early in the year sure lit a fire under his ass, didn't it?

I'm certain that he did. Battle's spot on the DV wheel of BS had to come up eventually.

What I remember about Battle is that he did a good job covering, and was usually in position, but he couldn't keep his damn hands off anyone.

He would have the guy covered like a blanket, and then inexplicably get all touchy and draw the PI flag.

My guess is it's a confidence thing. If he can ever get confident enough to keep from grabbing at guys, he will be a solid cover corner.
