A Chiefs fan from Oklahoma must have been thinking what a great town Kansas City is - no sooner does he meet a new friend, Tina, at a Quik-Trip - she invites him to her place and hops in the shower with him.
Stepping out, the man finds Tina and her friend Stephanie are gone, along with: His wallet, with a) all his ID b) $12.00 c) Two Visa cards. Three Chiefs tickets (his and two pals' from OK) His cell phone His car keys His car (black 1999 Mitsubishi Gallant)The man called his cell phone, Tina-Stephanie answered and said they'd be right back. Then they didn't answer anymore.
Independence police are checking into the shower address - it doesn't seem to belong to Tina or Stephanie. From the police report:
"RO gave the victim a ride back to the Comfort Inn where his friend contacted the victim's family and was able to obtain the VIN and license number from the stolen Gallant...The victim and his two friends are stranded as the car they come up in, is the stolen vehicle."There's a moral in here somewhere...not sure where.

Oh come now. If I went to a local rap concert dressed in some KKK gear you wouldn't think I deserved the beating I got, even though I wasn't ASKING to get beat up? This move was beyond stupid and now he's paying his stupid tax. The girls aren't that smart either, odds are pretty strong they'll get picked up on this one. No way they had time to wipe the house down for prints, so the cops will know who they are. The guy will most certainly recognize them, hell he's seen one of them naked. Stupidity all around.

How about this comparison. The woman who goes running with headphones on at 1am in a park just down the street from the bars which close at 1am. Does she deserve to be attacked? I refuse to have any sympathy for people who do that. Other people I have no sympathy for:

The fact of the matter is- this same kinda story happened to me a few years ago on Halloween. I met a gal at a costume party and she came onto me. I was drunk and lonely and so we talked about going back to her place. I stopped by the 7-11 to pick up some smokes and as I got to the counter, I realized I left my wallet in my SUV. I then see the gal pulling out of the parking lot with my brand new SUV of which I had just bought a couple of months before.

I ran outside, but of course she's taking off into the darkness. I figured she was joking around and would be back, but I was wrong. I didn't have any money on me as she had my wallet, so I ended up having to walk all the way back home. At that time, I lived in a secured high-rise and it took me forever to get into my apartment.

Anyways, pissed and tired, I called my bank to see if there were any transactions and they ran off a list that made me even more pissed and told them to stop the card and then called the Police. I completed the report with them and called the bank back and asked them if they could give me the latest transaction, and she said, "Well, they tried to use it at the Blah-Blah Motel in Idaho Springs just a few minutes ago."

So, I called the Idaho Springs, Colorado police department- gave them the description of my vehicle, plate numbers, and all and a few minutes later they called back to tell me they found the vehicle in the motel parking lot!!!

You see, I was just as stupid as that guy- but I had been drinking and I wanted some sex with a strange gal. I eventually got all my money back, got my car back w/out a scratch, and got some stupid whore and her friends arrested. It wasn't so bad after all....

Independence police are checking into the shower address - it doesn't seem to belong to Tina or Stephanie.
