He can sure break down film.

He's not very intimidating.

But I guess Dickie isn't so much either.

I liked when Jaws mentioned that Chris Simms took the diapers off yesterday.

Being a good analyst does not necessarily equate to being a good coach. He might very well be a good one, but if it were in the cards it would have played out a long time ago.

Give up a cushy job to deal with over paid babies?

He works alongside Michael Irvin and Tommy Jackson. How much worse could it be?

This point would have merit had DV not been in coaching before his broadcast career.

Ah yes that's what we need guys. We don't need a guy who's good at offense or defense or scouting or playcalling or devotion... we need a guy who can break down film like none other... it's almost too perfect. This is the most retarded post I've read.

not a head coach, but as an offensive assistant like a QB coach or something.

Doubt he would take it, he has a pretty good job now, work only 6 months out of the year and get paid to watch and talk about football.

I always enjoyed Jaws when he played for the Chiefs. I was disappointed that he didn't continue with the Chiefs as a QB coach. Now, he wouldn't take the pay cut. Guess he and we are stuck together in 2d.

Players with IQs lower than their shoe size can break down film, too. That's not what the coach is for

Jaws might make a good position coach and eventually OC. But he's not ready to be a HC yet.

He might also be good at scouting/pro personnel...
