What's the buddy list do?

does it do anything when you add someone to the buddy list? :shrug:

I just checked mine, and I actually have two guys on there. Of course I don't remember adding them, or why I did. I don't even know who one of them is...

helps you form alliances, so you can vote people off the island.

it adds a '+' by their name in the main http://www.chiefsplanet.com/BB/index.php? lobby
It seems pointless to me, cause you can only see the '+' if you're really looking at all the names of the logged on people
