are starting to get too damn close.

1 1/2 weeks ago, 22 people died from a twister that hit parts of Evansville and community. My daughter was in Evansville that night, although we didn't know of this until later, she was too scared to tell us right away.

Yesterday, a twister hit Madisonville,Ky, about 15 miles from us. III's g/f was in Madisonville at the time. OK, all is well but it took out the BellSouth and Cingular capability, we had no phones for 6 1/2 hours. To make matters worst, we had to sit thru that time wondering if our other daughter and grandkids were OK. They live at Ft Campbell, Hopkisville,Ky and Clarksville TN were hit with twisters.....

Glad this shit is bout over for the year...... Only 6 more weeks.

We had 8 tornadoes on Saturday here, two were F3 in strength. Among all the other strangeness, almost all of them hit populated areas during their lifecycles. Normally, a good percentage of an outbreak will only affect rural areas.

And of course, yesterday we got 4 inches of snow.
