Tired when they got home at 4am.
easier to not be as critical after win when reviewing tape.
Tough 6 games to go.
Being in the playoff picture after week 11 is nice.

All 6-4 does now is guarantee 6 wins.
Went to Houston thinking like NBA playoffs.....best of 7 wins.

Now have challenge of facing NE.
Next 6 games challenge with alot of strengths and very few weeknesses.

NE has set standard of winning past few years.

Every game from here on out is playoff game for KC.
Must increase and use the Pressure of that to force "us" to get better.

They have been improving areas within our football program..specifically defense. Larry's great game a tribute to him, Trich and the Oline. WRs blocked defenders very well to get him more yards. Credit to Joiner.

Must put that phase against good defense this week.

Must play smart vs NE. Penalties and Giveaway/takeaway very, very important vs NE.

Must play very fundamentally sound.

Only 3 backs last year, and 4 this year have rushed for 100yds vs Pats

NE runs a "pure 30" defense. Its unique, but pretty similar to what Dallas does. Its a unique challenge(word of the day is Unique children)

They play low center of gravity, use leverage. Teddy coming back brings leadership and enthusiasm.

NE has alot of injuries in 2ndary.

Best of 7 means you have to win 4. 5 wins + 4 wins = 9 wins. 9-7 won't get it done.

Chiefs health status will be better defined tomorrow.

Roaf will practice full speed tomorrow. his status will be determined.

Jordan black played better under pressure and intense evaluation...did a good job.

nice to have Roaf back.

Will practice normal on Thanksgiving, but starting earlier, and having shorter meetings in morning. Will let them go see family early, but will make up meetings with extra friday.

Looking forward to playing NE

questions(can't hear them)
q. NE's next man in. Belicecks dad dying help? what helps you get through the tough games?

A. what really helps is an outstanding QB like Brady. 2 WRs having thier best career years, with 6 games to play. Emphasis is shifted to pass, playing particularly well in 4th quarter, coming from behind etc.

green not responsible for his INT...

Great players with great confidence struggle sometimes, but come back

NE is good at this because they "surround themselves with the right people...play to their profile"

team feels like they're better than 6-4.
Character players foundation, young and talented players and FAs.

Ryan Sims is "chomping at the bit to play, because he wants to be part of this".....reflection on personel dept(we'll overlook the fact that motivation has been a problem).

The more pressure you can get from down 4 linemen, the better off you are. Do we get enough? maybe not. They're not getting enough sacks, but they're getting pressure and knockdowns(qb and ball) rah rahs for his washed up position coaches

Sims will get more reps this week on practice field with PS team.

he's making progress beyond Dv's expectation.

Boerigter?
Competing with Chris Horn and Horn is more consistent in playing any of the 4 wr positions, and STs. Boe is better at strait away routes, but not overall.

he's always a threat to suit up, and may suit up this weekend due to what they're doing vs the D that week.

feels good about team. They played "awefully well last december".

Wants to see positive progress.

"thinks we've got a chance".

Surtain doesn't have "high ankle sprain"....coaches hate that word.

Dante will score before season is over.

Even though it didn't look like it, he almost broke 2 sunday.

He's paid to try to score every time, his vision is too good and he bounces too much, but thats what he's supposed to do.

Long snapper....Looking at some kid from Miami named Chris Perry.

Roaf says he's ready, but playing football is different than "testing". moving 323lbs from 0-60 in a second is alot of stress on a hammy.

Were they talking that Roaf would be ready to go? I caught him talking about 300 lb guy with a hamstring injury. Said he worked out Monday and feels good to go this weekend.

Sounds like Roaf will play....I'll be suprised if Sims does this week, but think he'll be back for Dungver...just my take from what dv said.

I would like it if they could sneek him into the rotation just get him a few hits out there to build some confidence.

Man the last two weeks have gotten me amped about Ryan Sims. I think it's a great sign that he's kept his weight down and made such an effort.

He wants to get out there and be turned loose by Gunther. I can't f*cking wait. EAT SOME QBS, RYAN! :#

Imagine Ryan Sims and Jared Allen feeding off one another.

Sims is not in a contract year. He's legitimately motivated this year.

I hope Sims plays, that would be sweet. Roaf as well. Im guessing Gammon is done for year/career? I hope a new long snapper doesnt mess everything up! We never had to worry about Gammon messing up.
