has been looking pretty good in the 1st quarter against the Aggies. His number is 90, and he has white forearm pads on both arms.

He has been getting a double team most of the game, and still is holding the point of attack or even getting a pretty good push up the middle. His stock has fallen a bit over the past year or so, and he is now projected right in the range we are picking now.

Score at the end of one is Texas 14, A&M 9. Game on ABC.

The Aggies are playing out of their ass so far.

looks like texas is telling their defensive line to just hold the point.

Bob Dole never would have imagined that A&M would lead at any point in this game.

You mean he has fallen to 2nd round? Cause our 1st should be a left Tackle....Period!

I've been more impressed with the Aggies' senior DT, Johnny Jolly #97. He's started every game for the past 3 years and has never missed a game in his 4 years there. He's got a sack and a tackle for 3 yard loss in the 1st half. 6'4, 310.

And no, I don't want a LT in the 1st round. We tried that in '95, '98, and '99. Either sign Kevin Shaffer as an UFA, or take a LT later in the draft and hope that he works out better than Black or Williams.

Not a fan of Wright myself. Give me Haloti Ngata or ignore DT until later in the draft.

Another Samoan from U. of Oregon? Oh boy.

I have been out and about most of the morning, listening to the game in my car, and it sounds like Vince Young is singlehandedly keeping A@M in this game.

He's playing Reggie Bush into the Heisman Trophy today.

I need to see who's coaching before I start wondering who to draft.

I really do not think anyone needs to "play Bush into the Heisman". Kid has pretty well done that already. I do not think it should even be close.

I don't know about that.

Listening to ESPN radio over the last week or so, it still seems they all think that Young is the front runner.

I still think there is an east coast media bias to overcome.

This game is about 400% better than Bob Dole expected it to be. A&M looks to have found themselves a good young QB.

True, but then again, another DT - period? Ouch.

Emmit Smith said that Reggie Bush is the best college football player ever. I got a feeling all of the former Heisman winners with votes are going to vote for Reggie Bush.

To quote Lee Corso.... "Not so fast my friend!" It all depends on what type of offense we choose to run. Power football with play action passing and Jordan Black did just fine last Sunday. LJ set a Chiefs record behind it. Gonzo had a big game too.

Now if we want to go to the drop back a sling it all over the field style.... then yes, a LT would probably need to be high on the list.

I would prefer to stay with the power, and spent the picks elsewhere. Preferably to finish making the D a top 5 unit.

KC will draft the BAA if it's D-Tackle or OT remains to be seen, but it's most likely to be OT since of the immense depth of quality talent for that position in the 1st round.
