We really need Jacksonville to lose against Errorzona (go, Kurt Warner or whomever!), and we really need Pittsburgh to lose tomorrow night against the Manningapolis Colts.

We now take you back to your regularly scheduled programming.

Dang it, Arizona. Come on. Trying is enough. This is about results.

Hot diggity dog. Arizona just pulled to within a touchdown. Go ... what are they called? ... oh, yeah... Cardinals!

Byron Sandwich is out of the game for the Jags. Anyone know what's wrong with him?

I really don't need to cheer for another let down style team.

The Cards are teases...

He's taken more hits than Cheech & Chong...

You mean, aside from the fact that he sucks?

C'mon, Arizona. Hold them on defense with, uh....can anyone name a player on Arizona's defense?

Skyy God

Bert Berry, Okefor, Dockett, Rolle. That's all I can do.

Rain Man
11-27-2005, 05:40 PM
That's pretty good, but Berry and Rolle are both out on injury. Berry was the only one I could've named.

3rd and 9 at the Arizona 40 for Jacksonville. This is a big play.

Rain Man

Excellent. Incomplete pass from some guy to some other guy.

(I don't think I know any of the players on these two teams. It's like watching the CFL, but without Lawrence Phillips.)

The Cardinals could use Jake Plummer. He used to win these type of games.

Arizona's on the move. 1st down at their own 31.

Rain Man
11-27-2005, 05:50 PM
4th and 1 at their own 40. Go, Cardinals! Get Lomax to hand it off to Stump Mitchell!

Rain Man
11-27-2005, 05:50 PM
Go left behind Dierdorf and Dobler! Left!

Rain Man

Dang it all to heck.

2nd personal foul on Anquan Bolden this half. What's up with that?

Hammock Parties
11-27-2005, 05:52 PM
TD Jags.

Maybe Sandwich' injury is pretty severe. That'd **** em good.

Rain Man

I think I just figured out why there's no such thing as a Cardinals fan.

Seriously, they couldn't even generate a fanbase by dumping Jake Plummer.

TD Cardinals. 24-17 Jags with 2:56 left.

Arizona is teasing us with promises of spoiling.

Without Plummer, they've got a chance. They just pulled to within seven again. Keep talking about Plummer - it seems to help.

Rain Man
11-27-2005, 06:03 PM
An onside kick was kind of stupid here, I think.

Cardinals are getting the ball back.

Plummer Plummer Plummer.

Rain Man

Ooh. They stopped Jacksonville on downs. Without Plummer, they've still got a chance!

Hammock Parties

Let's go Warner! Do what Plummer couldn't!

Rain Man
11-27-2005, 06:07 PM
Okie-dokie. Two-minute drill with Warner - not Plummer - at the helm.

Hammock Parties
11-27-2005, 06:08 PM
Warner to the 36! GO!

Hammock Parties
11-27-2005, 06:08 PM
To the 43! GO!

Rain Man
11-27-2005, 06:09 PM
First down at the 36, with Plummer nowhere in sight!

Hammock Parties
11-27-2005, 06:09 PM
First down and out of bounds at midfield! 1 minute left!

Rain Man
11-27-2005, 06:10 PM
C'mon! Go! Warner is the anti-Plummer!

Hammock Parties
11-27-2005, 06:10 PM
To the 36! 44 seconds and running!

Rain Man
11-27-2005, 06:11 PM
Go! Go! 36 yards to Glory!

Rain Man
11-27-2005, 06:12 PM
Third down. Come on, Warner. Show that you're not Plummer!

Hammock Parties
11-27-2005, 06:13 PM
Warner fumbles...never trust the Cardinals.

Best play by play I've heard in weeks. I especially liked the pass from some guy to some other guy.

I think Jax's game today illustrates something I've thought for most of the season.

Most people think that Jax has a cakewalk to the playoffs, and they should.

However, Jax really isn't all that good, and they are capable of losing to anyone.

I'm betting they get at least 2 more losses on the season.

They've played to the level of their competition all year. Houston played them real tough, and St. Louis beat them with half their offense missing. They'd probably be the team most prone to slip up at this point I'd think... although Cincy really has never been in this situation either.

Well, I sure wish they'd start losing. I wonder what Leftwich's status is?
