I think so atleast one of those years this defense would've done it, esp the year we lost to the colts, that would've been a possible SB winner for us. Atleast there is improvement, i like actually seeing stops this year, wow! :clap:

once could even say that we would of been very 2005-coltish with this defense for the last 3 years.

middle of the road defense that is made top 10 because of a superb offense putting scoring pressure on the other team.

In 2003, we would've beaten the Colts easy.

What I dream about would be the offense of the last three years with the defenses of '95-'97.

We would've gone undefeated for three years with a team like that.

It would have gotten us there any of the last 3 years. We would have been a dynasty.

I'm still agnostic about just how much improved this D is. I'll have an opinion at the end of the season.

Still, would this D have forced 1-2 Colts punts in '03? Probably.

Oh its definately improved quite a bit. They are not worldbeaters by any means but they are decent. In 2002/2003 we would be getting run over Detroit's and the Browns backup running backs. That wouldnt happen anymore.
