I got an order form for playoff tickets today. Almost $800 for 3 seats to 2 games and parking. Bad thing is payment is due Dec. 9 and with Christmas coming up that's nearly impossible for me to fork over. Besides, what are the chances we'd host a game should we even qualify? Should I take a pass on these and try to score some later if necessary? What would you do?

Forgo Christmas.
I'm not giving up on a playoff berth, but if we make it, it's as a 5th or 6th seed at best. No way we host a playoff game.

The answer for a possible home game will be answered Sunday. If we beat the Donks, there is hope for a home game. If we lose to the donkeys, no chance for a home game at all.

Exactly...hold off until then at least. It is still a total long shot if they win, but other wise it is totally out of the quetion.

The good thing is if we don't make it, you can get it applied to next years tickets.

Yeah, I'd rather do that next year. Not 3 weeks before Christmas.

The NFL sets playoff ticket prices.

Isn't "Lost" on tonight, or something? Go back to channel surfing.

DG, this is obviously so obvious that the average schmo can't see it.

Fork for the tickets.

Whore yourself out to all the women in town.

How many shopping days 'til XMAS?

You are most certainly welcome.

Yeah, that should cover the $3 per ticket service charge.

Err, maybe not...

I know 3 for a quarter ain't much, but wasn't it nice of King Carl to give you so much time.

Load up on the B12. Puts lead in the pencil.

Stiff upper lip as well, old chap.

Yet another reason to go to nfl-forecast.com.

Seriously, the Chiefs will not be hosting a playoff game. Spend your bucks on the family.

How the hell can they ask for money when the team hasn't even secured a home playoff game?

Got mine as well and found it quite amusing that it's due by Dec 9th but if they don't make it and you'd like a refund,it must be presented in writing, the service charge would not be refunded and it would take 4-6 weeks to get your money back.

Like you even had to post this.....you all have NO CHANCE of the Playoffs this year....but what else is new right?

Unless the Chiefs are totally out of it, they do this every year so they don't have to scramble the last two weeks to get everything in order.

Also, IIRC, if you spend the $$ and they don't go you can apply the amount to next year's season tickets.

If I had the money, I'd fork it over. If it was close, fugetaboutit.

If you were a real fan you would fork over the money to Lamar without out even thinking about it.

At least that's what Carl says.
