I'm thinking Cincy, to get them both even at 8-4 (which is hopefully where we will be) while we still have the chance to knock Cincy down a notch later in the season...

Cincy.

I'd rather just have Pitt go in the toilet and have Cinci run away with the division. As long as they stay even, each is a desperate team.

Tough call.

I'm going to go with Pittsburgh, because we don't play them.

Give Cincy their 4th loss. Then we can give them their 5th in the season ender and get that tiebreaker hopefully.

For the wins, or the season ending injuries?

I'm rooting for Cincy. From everything I've seen, if it came down to Pittsburgh or KC for the Wild Card spot, we would win due to common game records.

Im going for Cincy... I want them to own the divison, and have thier Playoff spot clinched so that they sit the starters at the end of the year

Now - 31.8%
Pittsburg wins - 27.9%
Cincy wins - 37.1%

A Pittsburgh loss puts us a game ahead of them, with games against Chicago and at Minnesota (losses, I think) still left for the Steelers. That would drop Pitt to 9-7 and out of our hair.

I couldn't possibly care less about either team other than how the game affects the Chiefs, and my initial gut reaction before seeing cdcox's prognostications is that a Pittsburgh loss will help us more than a Cincinnati loss.

Go, Cincy.

I am rooting for us to win out.

Starting this week.

Its to our benefit that only 1 team from the AFCN makes the playoffs. I want the Bengals to run away with it and the Steelers to lose this week to them and next week to the Bears. Our odds of making the playoffs are greater that way.

From everything I've read, and I'm not sure, cdcox would have the official word... it's more important we keep pace with the Chargers and beat them because we're going to have a hard time winning tiebreakers over them. Cincy we can beat head-to-head, and Pittsburgh we have a better conference record over. I guess I'd root for a Cincy win, I don't have a lot of confidence of them going into Pittsburgh and winning though. I think a lot of the analysts are underrating Pittsburgh quite a bit when making these playoff predictions...

Pitt for now. A cincy loss helps us.

I can't tell you how awesome it is to see someone doing independent analysis using my software. :)

No.

I'm hoping for a rip in the space-time continuum that sucks both teams into the a universe populated by whispy carnivorous midget ghost zebras.

Cincy.

Chances are there may be 3-4 teams at 11-5 at the end of the year vying for one playoff spot under Jacksonville (who I still see losing only one more game tops). If Cincy has the division we'd own the tie-breakers over Pittsburgh and San Diego (provided we win our last three conference games).

Then again, everything is so bunched up right now it might come down to how many wins the Raiders end up with for all we know and don't discount the possibility that Denver implodes after their loss this week and the division goes back up for grabs.

That'll work too.
