Adam Teicher, of the Kansas City Star, reports Kansas City Chiefs C Casey Wiegmann (ankle) practiced Thursday, Dec. 1, and is uncertain for Week 13.

This has me a little worried. I'm encouraged by the fact he practiced, but he is vastly underrated as a key cog in the o line.

He's playing. Don't worry.

Since we have LJ in the backfield, this is not the worry that it would be otherwise. If it was still Priest and we needed the center to do a lot of pulling to the outside, this would be a huge concern.

Bober isnt yoru average back up. Guy is supposed to be pretty damn good. Even with Bober in there i dont think we lose to much.

Bober was a starter for the Giants at center a couple of years ago - he is a quality backup in short term situations. I would only be worried about snaps with Trent, but not blocking.

Bober would do ok but let's hope Wiegmann plays. We just got the line put back together and don't need to go through it again. IMO it would bring the play down a little because of lack of playing time together, etc.

I was wondering about this too after seeing the injury report, because I can't remember the last game Wiegmann didn't start. According to the team site, it's the opening game of 2001. He's a tough dude.

Casey will play, Bober can fill in if needed anyways.

The only time Bober is a problem is when they line him up and tackle and expect him to excel. He's a C/G and he's fine when he's playing there.

He was a good center when he played with the NYG. It wasn't fair to toss him out at tackle and expect very good results.

He should be an adequate backup if needed.
