Yes, yes, yes... Enjoy the pregame as much as humanly possible. The Superbowl is this weekend, and there will be little to talk about by way of Chiefs football afterward...

Only if we lose. Hence it's not really our "Superbowl."

I always feel a lot of negative pressure on threads that say "This will be a good thread." Frankly, I don't need the stress.

That's the most overused message board phrase ever invented. However, if indeed that is the case, it's your Super Bowl as well. Think about it.

It's NO ONE'S Super Bowl. Both teams still have something left to play for after the fact.

If it was our Super Bowl, wouldn't we be playing an NFC team? Some needs to teach those Broncos fans how football works. Sheesh.

It's your Superbowl.

If it was our Superbowl our season would be over after the game period. If we win then we are still in the thick of the hunt for a WC spot. It makes much more sense to compare this Sunday to a playoff game. If we win we go on, and if we lose we are most likely done.

My hope is that we get an interception, and then we get to see Allen, Knight, or somebody lay a block like that on Plummer.

I have a greater hope in the above scenario. I hope it's an illegal block that the officials flat out miss. It'll give the Donk fans something to cry about for years, much like Hall's return. Then of course we'll have to remind them that violating the salary cap in both of their Super Bowl years was a far greater offense that a silly little illegal block.

Fuggin cheating ass Donks.

Karma. I love it.

So what? We didn't actually violate the salary cap during our SB years either. Our salary was well within cap limits.

Actually, they did. They were fined. And the NFL swept it under the rug to avoid the bad P.R.

HA! If it makes you sleep better at night, go for it. Funny that Elway is the lowest paid QB in the NFL the year that they win the SB. Next thing ya know, he's got a portfolio full of new "partnerships" with the donks' owner, PB.

I guess the donk linemen never covered their uniforms with lubricant either. Denial ain't just a river in Egypt.

I sure am glad we aren't 10-6. Good thing we only have four losses. How often do 12-4 teams make the playoffs?

This year there could very well be two 10 win teams in the AFC missing out on the playoffs.

You have AFC 7 teams sitting there with 7 or more wins, not including division leading NE with 6 wins. So, 8 teams with realistic shots right now.

Barring surprises, NE and Indy are in as Div Winners.

2 more division winners and 2 wild cards among the following:

AFC E - Pats* 6 wins
AFC N -Cincy 8 wins / Pitt 7 Wins
AFC S - Indy* 11 wins / Jags 8 wins
AFC W - Den 9 wins / SD 7 Wins / KC 7 Wins

Everybody has 5 games left...

Cincy, Jags, Denver will likely all hit 10+ wins. KC and SD very well could hit 10 wins... 8 teams don't advance. NE will likley be the worst record in the AFC Playoffs.

This year 10 wins likely means you're out unless Pitt or Jax fall apart.
