Is is just me or did he really contribute yesterday. When he gets back to 100 our defense is going to be more solid. I was really impressed with what I saw out of him yesterday.

I don't know how many snaps he played but I am sure he will be getting more, that is the most exciting part. I beleive we will now see that push to the quarterback we have been anticipating for awhile now.

He looked like he was glad to be back, watching him cheer on the sidelines was great.

I'm just happy we have a very young nucleus on defense. Mitchell, Allen, Sims, DJ, Carlos Hall, Sapp.

Surtain is only 30, Wesley is still young.

This makes me very happy.

What really got me was not the snaps he played, but the snaps he didn't play.

Almost all of the gouging runs were right at John Browning...

Yeah, I was very impressed with Sims. I wonder if he would be better taking that many snaps a game. He is a tub of lard. Im glad to have him back and he is more depth now/talented depth.

Sims is to the DLine as Roaf is to the OLine.

The math is left as an exercise for the students.

He was responsible for stuffing the 4th and 1 play.

He was in the backfield almost every snap he was in.

I'm very excited about having him back, hopefully we can keep him next year.

If that is true then we can expect to see even better defense the last four games. From what I have witnessed a healthy SIMs, Dalton, Hall, and Allen makes a tough DL with Browning and Hicks making a healthy rotation.

This fan is excited about the return of Defense to KC.

LONG LIVE GUN!!

Welcome back to the Guys Up Front (GUFs), Sims.

Gun's GUFs...I like the sound of that.

Unfortunately, I had to work yesterday and did not watch the game until today. Thank God for Tivo. Anyway, did anyone else notice Sims on the Derrick Johnson sack of Plummer in the 2nd quarter? I watched Ryan as he drove Matt Lepsis(78) back and basically threw him on the Plummer/Johnson pile. Ryan has returned with some power and attitude... I really enjoyed watching that...almost as much as the sack itself. Go back and check it out! I think Sims will only improve the Defense in games to come. :toast: to the Chiefs
