They are calling for 2 to 6+ inches of snow, depending upon where you live. Remember, for every good driver that respects the weather and drives according to the road conditions, there are about ... mmmmm ... 100 others that drive like idiots. The last thing I want to see is any of you ending up in the Emergency Room (especially my Emergency Room) or worse, in the obituaries.

Please, everyone drive carefully.

Ironic that the day I realize I need to go to the grocery is the same day it's going to be 15 degrees and snowing.

Guess I'll be living off stored fat. Plenty of that to go around.

Be safe people.

You've nicely massacred "mate", using it right after a comma like that.

I didn't know the word "mate" was so fragile that a single comma could hurt it so badly... wow, so sorry, dude

ok i don't get it. When people drive like "Morons" when it snows is it because they are driving too slow or too fast? I would think it is because people are driving too fast but i have talked to people today that are like "Man it took me 40 minutes to get to work because of the morons on the road.

To paraphrase Carlin: "morons" are everyone driving slower than you; "maniacs" are everyone driving faster than you.

While I'm @ work I'm multitasking- looking @ radars while writing my report. Looking @ the radars it looks like a band of heavy snow is getting ready to move into KC.

I'm bumping this because this is getting serious. So far there 3 inches on the ground and they're saying between 7 and 8. It will be snowing all night. People are only able to go 5 mph.

Speaking of driving in KC, are the morons who clog up the I-states by driving 3-4 wide at the same speed still operating? I'm still not exactly sure I believe my friend who told me the story?

It's a nut house out there... I had a job interview in downtown today... left Wburg about 11:00 got to the interview about 1:00 (an hour longer than normal)... when I left the interview it took me 1 hour to get from Union Station to 16th & Grand.

I decided not to risk it and am sitting in the lobby of the Westin Crown Center trying to determine what my next move is...

I could probably get home, but have no desire to chance anything... nor spend 3 - 4 hours on the road...

Congratulations! None of you showed up in my Emergency Room today!

The roads are bad in spots but not horrible. My normal 50 minute drive home took me about an hour and 15 minutes, mostly due to people who have no idea how to drive in snow, or on pavement that has powdered blowing snow on it anyway.

I have determined I'm way to lazy. Spent 30 minutes to get the snow blower started, it's small and can't handle a lot of snow, so wanted to make a quick run with it tonight. Just so I could do the driveway in 5 minutes.

Oh well.

Mine has a "D" that has a larger "O" around the "D." Someone told me it stood for, "Orgasm, Dude!"

I don't know if my car is male or female so I've always been afraid to try that gear.

On this past Monday night Mike Thompson did this long spiel about how the weather pattern was setting up where KC wouldn't get measueable snow at least until Feb. and he said there was a chance KC would not get measureable snow all winter. Then we get 10-12 inches 2 days later.

Thompson does this "Waterboy Mike" stick every week where he tries to predict the Chiefs' game. Based on this week I think Thompson needs to go on IR for "brain implosion".
