He's gonna be the next Joe Horn, except without the mouth and attitude.

First, it's Smith to the Redskins, from the Seahawks. Not to the Seahawks.

Second, He's a practice squad lifer. He got his chance with us and dropped some key passes.

Third, for him to be another Joe Horn, he has to actually be good. He isn't.

Probably a different Richard Smith, it's not like his name is very rare, lol.

Smith was on our roster, had a great preseason last year, got in one game, dropped the ball and never saw the field again in KC. Had great speed and everyone raved about his hands. Then, much like Kaiser Soze, he was gone.

I heard that he was really good as far as skills went, but he just couldn't learn the O (i.e. he's not very bright).

I know a lot of positive stuff was said about him in pre-season. But it was said by Dick Vermeil. The same guy that says Bartee and McCleon look stellar every pre-season.

If he was so damn good, why wasn't he on our PS?

I thought Vermeil (and everyone else) only said Bartee looked really good in practices. I've heard from several coaches in interviews that he was always making the plays in practice, but couldn't do it when it mattered.

And Metro, I'd heard the same thing about him not being all that bright.
