So when you know you're going to spend some quality time in the bathroom, what's your preferred reading material?

My wife always has the sports page waiting for me upstairs. If it is a light sports day or a heavy crapping day I have a Cabela's master catalog as well as a Musicians Friend in reserve.

I am really not too picky though, and will settle for the back of a shamoo bottle if needed.

Listerine bottles are pretty good.

Maxim.

But the impending woody leaves me with somewhat of a shot-clock.

Good thing I'm right next to the kleenex

I really need to get a laptop.

But I'd probably sit on the toilet until my legs get numb and I couldn't stand up (pins and needles STFU )

...and the laptop would burn my penus.

But it'd be worth it

I don't read, I need to focus on the task at hand

I prefer newspapers or other periodicals with short articles. If I get engrossed in a long article or a book, I'd rather move someplace more comfortable.

This may sound weird, but I read Architechture magazines. Something about looking at buildings lets the juices flow

I read nothing. I do what I went in there for and get the fug out. Those of you who hang around really need to consider getting more comfortable furniture at your house.

Nice! ROFL

My preference is usually Readers Digest or Sports Illustrated.

Sometimes a Bass Pro Shops or Cabelas catalog.

Haven't you read his posts? It's coming through the keyboard, down the wire, and clear onto CP.

I think I've got damn neart every edition of "Uncle John's Bathroom Reader". Absolutely the finest in peripheral information that is virtually worthless, but comes in handy as wierd conversation trivia.
I highly recommend the series. Great Christmas Gift , too.

To stop the transfer of fecal matter, when I get up I just don't wipe.

since getting home and browsing my library, i've decided against hop on pop. it appears to be a collection of short stories. instead, i've opted for a fast paced read titled green eggs and ham.

I like to read the back of the toilet paper after I wipe to see how good of a wipe I got and to determine how much more wiping will be required

I'm working on getting them all. I'm up to nine of them, but they just came out with number 18 this year, so I'm still have a long way to go!
