Bob Dole didn't think Jerry Jones had that much class in him.

Honoring Hunt: Chiefs owner Lamar Hunt, a Dallas resident who founded the Chiefs as the Dallas Texans of the AFL, will do the pregame coin toss today. Cowboys owner Jerry Jones asked Hunt to perform the duty as a way to honor him.

Though I would have to agree on JJ, this is a classy move...

That's what I've heard. I expect since they both live in Texas they run in some of the same social circles. I think part of it is related to the old NFL having created the Cowboys to compete with the fledgling AFL. They have a little trophy the two swap back and forth based on the outcome of Chiefs/Cowboys games.

Doubtful. Rumor has it that JJ never even shits in the same toilet twice.

Heh. Lamar's sneaky competitive. I read that when he had the trophy, he put it in his window, so Jones could see it every day on his way to work.

well, he's had it ever since the last meeting.

EDIT:

BTW they lead the all time series 3-4 so it's not like they own us or something. It will be dead even after today :)

This just seems weird. I would be disgusted if we let Jerry Jones do the coin toss in Arrowhead.

KCFX was just talking about the trophy.

The trophy is a piece of an old rail road tie with a plaque on it. They call it the Preston Road Trophy as that is the name of the road the two live on. Kinda cool...
