Just wanted to mention that Jared Allen surpassed his sack total from last year in the Dallas game and has shown improvement across the entire board this year including 7 forced fumbles.
That is all.....back to sulking.

Just think what he could do if the rest of the line was decent.

Just think if we had a DT that commanded double teams.

I would imagine that DT will be a priority...... next year.

Jared Allen is really Neil Smith in disguise. Quick and agile and very long strides and long reaching arms.

That's one hell of a disguise! Must be similar to the one Eddie Murphy uses in his "Old Jewish Man" schtick.

Allen is easily the best Defensive player we have. He should not only make the pro bowl, but acctually start. He's one of the best defensive players in the league. Anyone think he has a shot at defensive player of the year?

For all the talk about Freeney, Allen is better IMO. He's got the edge on sacks against him right now but more then that he has almost twice as many tackles. What a great draft pick.

This is one of those scenerios where I might be the one to say that Allen is our best Defensive player, but Sammy Knight is the MVP of our defense... he just seems to be in the right places and, although he might get run over, he gets the guy down one way or another. Instead of last year where they would hit with a shoulder and let the guy go

just my 2 cents

Jared is only going to get better, i mean jeez his first year actually starting, he should put up some big numbers, the guy has heart and fire to get to the ball.

And i dont know how many fumbles Freeney has caused, but i'm pretty sure that it's not even close to what Allen has caused. He reminds me so much of DT the way he not only goes for the sack, but knocks the ball loose as well.

You probably just heard him being interviewed with his mouthpiece still in place.
