The national media wants him to say something cancerous so it will distract us enough to where we don't get in the playoffs.

They are also going to want him to say something about his TD celebration thingy so that he can get in trouble with the NFL for selling his celebration.

I disagree.

Jay-Z is a pretty good rapper, IMO.

They were down on the airplane about the Dallas game, but got over it, it's all Giants now.

If it were up to him, what would happen next year with the RB situation? He said he would have to talk to Priest.

Asked him about the Roc, etc, said Jay-Z watches them, likes that he's doing that, LJ appreciates being the only athlete signed to Roca Wear.

yada yada, nothing new...

He said he's a big Star Wars fan.

And that he's got a tattoo of Darth Maul on his left ass cheek.

Nothing too exciting, not exactly hard hitting journalism. He explained his Rocawear signal. He likened his situation with Priest to that of Phillip Rivers and Brees. Said he wanted PT next year, and he wanted Priest's permission to start next year. Sort of hinted that Priest would be a great 3rd down back next year.

You don't have to say "quote" on the internet. That's why God invented quotation marks.

He said that he would need to get Priest's permission to start when he comes back, but they would still need some sort of rotation to make sure that Priest would get his carries.

He said he does the diamond sign because he knows JayZ is watching and wants to show him some love in a nike, reebock, addidas world.

He said the way to forget the Cowboys game was to get to work on studying your new team. We need to focus because we know that it is important to our playoff chances.

Nothing exciting.

Seems like a nice guy. Not a mush mouth duh type at all. Said it was up to the coaches about next year and he will have to talk to Priest. Said Phillip Rivers feels much the same way now as he did two years ago.

Actually, I just saw it... He said - He wished Andy Rooney was in Star-Wars but Andy sold his soul to the devil after the Vikings got charged for party-boat misdemeanors and also that all the above are the real reasons; Santa doesn't stop in Texas.

After seeing what it did for Larry, maybe we should be making a play for Rivers...

I'm not satisfied VD's ignorance is responsible for LJ's success.

I'd take a chance on Rivers except why would he come here when he won't be the starter for another two years or so?

He said that he would need to get Priest's permission to start when he comes back, but they would still need some sort of rotation to make sure that Priest would get his carries.

That's not entirely accurate. (Tivo is a wonderful thing.)

Q: Were Priest to decide to come back next year off of this injury, what would you envision your role with the Chiefs being?

A: "It would be tough. It would be still a role where I'm seeing enough playing time and getting the ball and helping out this team get to a Super Bowl next year if it's not this year. But it's all the coach's decision, whatever coach Vermeil wants to do as far as who's going to be starting, who is going to have to adjust roles so it's all going to be, you know, a different scenario next year."

Q: If YOU were put in a position, Larry, where you had to make that call, what would the call be?"

A: "I would basically have to talk to Priest about that, and find how Priest felt mentally and physically, if he felt the need that it was okay for me to start, then obviously given the permission from him then I would go ahead and start but at the same time still keep a certain type of rotation where he's able to see the field too and he's been a great third down back and he's been a great back all around so no matter when I would come out and when he went in we would still be able to be productive."

I'd think Priest would be alot more valuable as a backup and on screens, he was always a shredder on those. Love priest but LJ has earned it, and thats cool LJ would talk to him about it.

My thoughts exactly. Priest can still be a very valuable backup and hes deadly on those screen (Miami Game) Passes.

I only wish they did that from the beginning of this season.

then maybe we'd still have them both.

although, the offense didn't really get going until Priest went down.

maybe having them both is more of a hinderance than a blessing. addition by subtraction?

who do we have that we can trade for rivers? would rivers be a good fit here? do we want to pay him to suck balls at least one year?

No way in Hell San Diego trades Rivers to another AFC West team. He will probably end up in the NFC.

I think that they are sticking with Trent for at least another season anyway. So I doubt Rivers would want to come to ride pine here.

Plus, in a back up roll, he may be able to finish a season. He's getting rather beat up.
