5. Vermeil pisses me off with not holding anyone accountable.

4. My wife makes kick ass cookies (I've known this, but everyone at work confirmed it for me).

3. I get much more done at work if I wait until AFTER I've written my stories to visit Chiefs Planet.

2. When schools are on vacation, apparently so am I (sports editor, much of my coverage is high school).

1. I want to be Eliza Dushku's wardrobe consultant.

When high schools are on vacation, isn't that your time to study the upcoming junior high prospects?

That's pretty good.

It took me almost 8 years to learn 5 things.

By the end of next year I will learn a sixth. How to tie my shoelaces.

I can't wait, no more slip-ons.

I am going to bet covering high school sports is pretty fun.

Less egos and guys that actually might want to talk to you instead of being complete jackasses about the media.

I really enjoy covering HS and collegiate sports. Coaches are generally nicer, athletes are more genuine.

There are some high school coaches I've seen who can be pretty big jackasses....

I can figure out five things very quickly.

I just can't remember them for a whole 72 hours.

Don't!
Find another thing to learn!

Once you learn to tie your shoes, then you are expected to tie them yourself, EVERYDAY! :banghead:
