They should be. They have job security with DV. Without him, they'll be out of a job and being on one of the worst defenses the last 5 years running isn't great for the resume when looking for another team.

HE is the freakin HC Let's take some responsibility for our job title here.

Just cause the O has been succesful in the 5 years he's been here doesn't mean the failings of this team aren't his fault. When Hall was returning all those kicks for scores they were the first to mention his emphasis on ST and his history with George Allen on ST. But you don't here any negative this year towards him when Hall doesn't have a return for a score.

In defense of Gun:

1- Gun technically has had only one year with players "he drafted." I don't count the '04 draft as his, as he didn't have a good feel of who/what he needed.

2- Kawika Mitchell.

The only thing that puzzles me about Gun is his playing Surtain loose. That's not like the Gun of the past. I suspect he does not trust our Dline's ability to pressure the passer.
