Oh, he's got nothing on Rich Eisen and Terrell Davis. Just got done watching the game highlights on NFL Channel. After the highlights and coverage of Vermeil blubbering like a little girl, all Eisen and Davis did was lament and whine about how good the Chargers are and how it's such a shame they won't make the playoffs, and how they are undoubtedly the best team that won't make the playoffs. NOT A WORD ABOUT THE CHIEFS, JOHNSON, HOLDING SD TO 7 POINTS, NOTHING.
Apparently beating the crap of out the best team to miss the playoffs and missing the playoffs somehow does not equal being the best team to miss the playoffs. :spock:
Not like any of this matters, but Christ, at least these retards could suck off a team that will actually be playing in two weeks.

Yeah, but he at least said "You are what you are", and called out all this BS about how they're some great team that isn't going to make it. They didn't make it. They weren't good enough, end of story. I don't feel sorry for them, our schedule was no cakewalk either. These last 6 games were absolutely killer and we've got a good shot at going 4-2 against top notch competition and not making the playoffs. Join the club.

Being a midwest team who hasn't won many playoff games hasn't helped with their "large TV market" mentality either. I'm afraid we will continue getting the disrespect until we win a SuperBowl convincingly leaving no doubt and no room for them to say we got lucky.

When you look at the last 30 years of the NFL, the teams we can be compared to are the Lions, Saints, and Cardinals.
