Roll with it, Coach. There are likely pictures to follow, and then all will become clear.

Heh. I think I understand what's Psi is talking about now. The Memphis/Gonzaga game.

Yeppers, and the initial post was basically just to vent what I was thinking about Dirty Sanchez all game. He is ungodly, even if Shawne Williams and the rest of the team did keep him scoreless for the last 10 or whatever minutes.

D-Wash has the heart of a ****ing champion. That was an unreal performance, and he was still obviously hobbled, despite Dicky V and Shulman stating otherwise. He probably won't even be close to 100% the rest of the season, but he overcame that and pulled out some CLUTCH baskets that kept the momentum going our way; the drive, spin, and swish with a second left on the shot clock was hyyyyuge.

DWash is dragging that leg up and down the court....he's about 75% of normal speed. Hell, usually he would have beaten Ravio off the dribble like a red-headed step child, but tonight he was having trouble getting by anyone one on one. Despite that, he played fabulous. Under control, running the team, and scoring when they needed it. This Tiger team is damn fun to watch and root for.

He reminded me of Burks a couple of years ago, fighting through the pain to come up big, but the good news is that Allen can step in and use his speed to be a weapon, too; actually, Allen's a better fit at times due to D-Wash's leg, simply because he can keep the pace up and keep pushing it. Tonight, though, D-Wash would not be denied.

They played a horrible game in the first half, but when they came out, started driving to the basket, and started dictating the way the game was played in the early portions of the second half, you could tell it was only a matter of time.

This team is mindblowing. That they can really underperform tonight against another Top 10 team, and still come out with the win...

He's a great player, don't like the Bird comparisons though. Just cause he's tall and white.... doesn't work that way. He doesn't have 25% the passing ability and court vision Bird did.

EVERYTHING is ungodly! But Adam Morrison is the TRUTH.

Just cause he's tall and whiteSpeaking of which, I found it amusing that when he shoved Shawne Williams from behind, leading to the heated confrontation that's adorning ESPN.com's front page, it was "accidental contact." And when telling the story of how he kicked some fellow student's ass on campus, he's a "college kid who was just enjoying himself."

Let's see how those events are described if he's a big, imposing black dude.

I do think some of the comparisons to Bird are more valid than anyone else who's been to compared to Bird before, though. He is a totally ridiculous basketball player, and easily the best player in the nation. After seeing both him and Redick play in games I was obviously paying a lot of attention to, there's no comparison.

The Bird comparison is the size, the high release, the ability to score with a guy in his face, the clutch shooting, the ability to use screens, the shaggy hair, the porn stache......he's as close as anything I've seen in college to Bird. No doubt he doesn't have Bird's passing or rebounding ability, but there is clearly a similarity that doesn't end with him being a tall white shooter.

He's more Wally Szerbiak than Lary.

Yeah, but that's what I remember Bird for, his passing ability and his clutch play. There isn't a basketball player in pro or college today that had the court vision Bird did.

It'll take a good effort. This is their best start since Bird's senior year, they play tough basketball. Very solid, they've had a nice turnaround.

It was so damn loud in there during the last 5 or so minutes I thought the roof would shoot into outer space.
----
It was hard to understand, but I picked up that the Blue Crew was chanting dirty sanchez and I lost it. I told all my people around me and everyone around cracked up.

The 10 year old kid in front of us turned around and asked what they were chanting and 5 people at the same time just say "nothing".ROFL
