Don't forget that last week against Indy Alexander had already been pulled and when they got the ball to the 1 Holmgren sent him back in.

They should be worried about Washington, Bears, Giants
Tampa Bay.

Any one of those could Knock them off.

Yep I hate the seahags. As far as the record-it is pretty much inflated, just like Manning beating Marino's record with half yard shovel passes, when he could have ran it in. Plus staying in the game, even during blowouts.

Alexander IS that good

Alexander is not as good of a goal line back as Priest was.

Priest's superman dive is darn near impossible to stop. Has anyone ever denied him when he does that?

I never see Alexander doing that.

How many times was PH pulled to "save" him for the season. Chiefs could have put him back into games on the one-many times. Hell, some games he hardly played the second half because the game was out of reach.

I don't have time to debate this right now.. Perhaps during our 1st round BYE or after the SUPERBOWL, I'll debate with you... ;)

KC played the Raiders twice, Philly, Bills, Texans, Jets... there are creampuffs sprinkled into every team's schedule.

SEA just didn't lose the games they were supposed to win. Don't be hatin'...

Someone else besides me watched "Inside the NFL" this week?

They made a big deal out of Seattles schedule being pretty cush.

Hell if we had that schedule we might have thier record too?

:D

Not sure how you can take anything away from Alexander's accomplishment. If all it took was an easy schedule, then the record would have been set by someone else a long time ago. Besides, how tough was our schedule when Holmes broke the record? His 8 TDs in the final 3 games came against some of the worst teams in the NFL.

As for coming in on the 1 yard line, I don't think it was his choice to go sit down in the first place.

Alexander has been one of the most productive RBs in the league for 5 years running. It's not like it's a fluke that he's doing this. He's a stud.

Agreed and I have nothing against Alexander nor the Seahawks in general I just thought it was kind of shitty of Holmgren.I mean if you're going to let him come in on the 1 why not go ahead and keep him in and let him add to his rushing totals as well.

I agree with Lin Dickey on the radio yesterday this whole resting players thing etc etc has gotten crazy.

When it is this late in the season and you have a chance to break a record, the coaches will do what they can to help out. Just like DV did a couple weeks back with LJ to help set the Chiefs single game rushing record, as soon as he heard he was close he put him back in the game.

You guys must have all forgotten that we were poised to draft Alexander with the pick after the Hawks. They just beat us to him, somehow I don't think we'd be talking that way had he been behind our line in 03 and had 35 TD's. Hands down, he's the best back in football and a class act off the field. Pay the man. GO SEAHAWKS!!!!!!

All I'm sayin is...you can move to the ever historically weak ass NFC west...but you'll always be the hopeless seahawks to me. A mudhole by which the rest of the AFC west put their boot in..

what if the divisions were the same as back then?

the 2005 AFC West would be the best division in NFL history
