Thought this deserved it's own thread. These are his final numbers.

317-507, 62.5%, 4014 yds, 17 TD, 10 INT

90.1 QB rating

With his great performance today, Trent was able to lift his QB rating for the season at 90.0 or above for the 4th consecutive season.

By doing this, Trent became only the 3rd quarterback in the history of the NFL to have four straight seasons at 90.0 passing efficiency or above. A really, really impressive feat.

Most consecutive years, QB rating of 90.0 or higher

8 - Steve Young, 1991-1998
4 - Trent Green, 2002-2005
4 - Brett Farve, 1994-1997
3 - Joe Montana, 1983-1985
3 - Dan Fouts, 1981-1983
3 - Kurt Warner, 1999-2001
3 - Rich Gannon, 2000-2002
3 - Peyton Manning, 2003-2005

Trent is the only QB on that list to have never won an MVP award.

Okay, I'm now confused. Someone said he won a Super Bowl in St Louis. How is that possible without winning a playoff game?

Remember he was the starter before getting his knee blown out in the preseason. The grocery store boy took over and led the Lambs to the Super Bowl. But Trent still got a ring.

Okay, I'm now confused. Someone said he won a Super Bowl in St Louis. How is that possible without winning a playoff game?Technically he was on the Rams IR the year they won the Super Bowl, he did not win a Super Bowl or even play in one. It is correct to say he has never won a playoff game.

He's also the only guy on that list to never have a defense. I do believe that this year's Chiefs defense is the best defense Trent Green has ever had in terms of points allowed. Seriously.

He did when he came in for St. Louis after we beat the crap out of Warner in Arrowhead back in 2000. He started 5 games and played about a half in two others. Basically, played the equivalent of about 6 games.

In that time, he threw for over 2000 yards, 16 TD, and 5 INT. Pretty sick numbers.

Yeah, it's pretty horrific. You put all those teams together and they allowed an average of over 24 points a game. That's pretty staggering. Especially considering this year's Chiefs D actually brought that number down...

I can't imagine their offence was much chop either, given that their QB was playing for another team.
