Tough home schedule - all teams but San Fran look like threats. Not bad on the road - only Arizona and St. Louis look to be the easy ones.

Everything could change by next season, but Cincy and Seattle at home are in our favor because they don't have superior defenses. They're fast and opportunistic, but if we take care of the ball and do what we do best, yesterday happens...

We all know the Chiefs problems on the road...that said I like our road schedule next season.

I'd like to see a comparison of the Denver & San Diego schedule's to see where the Chiefs have the advantage.

Essentially, everything is identical for home and away aside from the following games:

Denver gets Indy at Home and KC gets Jax at home. Denver doesn't play Jax and KC doesn't play Indy.

Denver goes to New England and KC goes to Miami. Denver doesn't play Miami and KC doesn't play NE. Aside from those 2 games, it looks like everything is identical.

Indy will look significantly different next season...I know that Reggie Wayne will hopefully be playing for the Chiefs next season & Jax could be the best team in that division with Matt Jones the next NFL superstar.

That's the thing... nobody knows if next year's schedules are good or bad at this point.

miami on the road again?

I don't understand how that works either...it's time they come to KC in December!

"Very tough schedule. A lot of these teams are highly competitive and pose a threat to us, even at home--"

Won's have to hear a lot of this again!

The road game against Arizona should be fun. They are debuting a new stadium next season. You can check it out by going here:

At home Seattle, Denver, and San Diego could all prove tough. The others don't worry me too much at all. On the road San Diego, Denver, and Pittsburgh look like our toughest match ups. If the team doesn't fall apart under the new coach we should be at least a 10-6 team. Of course this is the NFL and any of the teams that sucked ass this year could turn into monsters for next year.

This is one of the reasons that I hated to see a coaching change. All of the stars were lining up for next year, with a schedule that doesn't look overly tough. I don't want to see 2006 as a retooling year, but rather as a sprint to the finish line.

At least we get to fill the Edward Jones dome with a sea of red next year.

I called 10-6 too but thought it would still give us a playoff shot.

Agree...although Denver in Infestco is probably a loss and the Chargers game is probably a toss-up.

But our home schedule looks pretty easy. I say we're looking at another 10-6 or 11-5 season barring injuries and the like.

12-4 or 11-5...that may be good enough for the 5 or 6 seed in the afc which is rediculous
