Depends on your mood.

SciFi? Comedy? Drama? Mindless action flick?...

Whatever you saw that you think is good, do tell...

Sarah Silverman: Jesus Is Magic...
It's a little (a lot) over the top and wrong, but still funny as hell.

I'd always recomend "Things To Do in Denver When You're Dead."

Christopher Walken, Steve Buscemi, and Andy Garcia (most underappreciated actor of all time.) You can't go wrong.

Try "The Day After" or "The United States of Leeland."

Syriana confusing as hell but rather interesting none the less. Definitely a 2 viewing movie (just to try and make sense of all the 'players' and thier impact in the story.

I definitely liked Syriana, though a little slow easily the highest quality flick I have seen in a month. Going to see Munich this week and I have high hopes for it.

Fun With Dick and Jane is absolutely hilarious. I enjoyed it but not up to the Jim Carrey comedy quality of old so I was slightly dissappointed.

You must have no sense of humor. Did you see the INS scene where she was the getaway car? Classic. ROFL

I recently watched one with James Earl Jones and Matthew Lillard called Finder's Fee (http://imdb.com/title/tt0192023/).Decent movie that pretty much takes place in one setting.

OMG... I loved it.Don't get me wrong there are many funny moments. Just not many laugh so hard it hurts moments like in his early movies.

Finally saw 40 Year Old Virgin - freakin hilarious. Lots of laughs and lots of heart.

Seth Rogen (Cal) is going to be in Apatows next movie working title "Knocked Up" He plays a dude that has a one night stand with some chick way out of his league and she ends up preganant.

I mean it wasn't just a comedy making this guy a joke the whole movie. Not saying it was touchy feely but there was heart in the movie. I guess in 5 years or so I will still watch this movie mainly cause the characters for the most part were really well portrayed.

The island isnt a bad movie, no idea why is flopped at the box office, but is a tad long (over 2 hours)..

Just finished Weddding Crashers, not as funny as i thought it would be , but a good flick ....

Have to watch Broken Flowers with Bill Murray, heard that is pretty good....

Either than that, havent been to the theaters in 2 years

I have not seen it yet, but I heard Hostel was one disturbing flick. Quentin Tarantino is connected to the film somehow, so you know it will be over the top.

Narnia was the best movie i saw in 2005. Might be cause it took me back to being a little kid when i saw the cartoon, but still. Damn lion looked amazing, and all the mythical creatures fighting was awesome.

If you haven't seen The Rainmaker and Boiler Room, don't even reply to this thread, go to the video store right now and rent them. My other mainstream top picks are K19: The Widowmaker and Enemy at the Gates and I guess Boogie Nights. Magnolia is my favorite movie, but falls into the 'you have to like that kind of movie category.'
