Bradway discussed the timeline of negotiations with him and Carl. Said Chiefs will announce Edwards as coach this afternoon.

Said that Vermeil and Edwards spoke every week for last five years, and he spoke with Carl frequently as well.

Said that there was no tampering.

LOL! Of course if I was in their situtation I would be pissed as well. The DV thing wouldn't bother me, but another teams GM who hired me, mmmm, ouch.

The funny thing is, you could probably go back 30 days and find threads calling for Edwards' head.

NY fans on the whole, are almost as flaky as Gochiefs...

Tampering charges have to be filed with the league office by the team who was the alleged victim.

If the Chiefs are charged with tampering without the Jets FILING tampering charges, the NFL front office is setting a dangerous precedent.

I'm guessing NFL ownership wouldn't even allow such a thing...
