Did we already know this? Is it an error? Or is it because Palmer was injured? Is this a re-post?

One never knows.

repost...

Plummer will take Palmer's place as one of the 3 QBs suiting up for the Pro Bowl. Brees and Plummer were 1 and 2 on the "alternate" list. Now that Palmer and Brees are out, moving Plummer into the game... Green is on the alternate list.

throws for 4000 yards and runs No1 offense in NFL and doesn't get a pro-bowl nod?

so sad.

Yet Jake " I can't wait to throw 20 picks this week" is going to be playing. How sad indeed.

Well, Jake topped Green in the TD/INT/QB Rating categories... and he was running the #5 offense in the game.

#5 offense in the game.

Not the number one.

Being the #1 offense doesn't really mean too much does it?

Obviously it doesnt mean anything. Id still take TG over Jake anyday.

I don't think it was because of our offense that we are not in the playoffs. Look what we did to your "#1" defense.

Denver never had the #1 defense.

Trent Green passer rating: 90.1
Jake Plummer passer rating: 90.2

Considering Trent threw the ball 51 more times I would give the edge to Trent. The reason Trent is behind Plummer is because 1) he only threw 17 TD passes and 2) the Chiefs didn't make the playoffs.

Not unless Plummer trips over his dog again, or whatever. TG is now a reserve, where Brees and Plummer were pre-Palmer injury.

Plummer is basically going to the Pro Bowl because he only threw an interception every 65 passes, and his team is 13-3. Green had an interception every 50.7 attempts. That is still very good, but it would look even better if he would have had his usual 20+ TDs.

Green had more total yards: 4014 to 3366
He had a higher yards per attempt: 7.92 ypa to 7.38
He had a higher completion percentage: 62.5% to 60.7%

With that said, Brees threw 15 INTs with an interception every 33 attempts, and he was ahead of both of them.
