Chiefs seem to be inerested in a CFL QB named Casey Printers. They say he is like Vince Young. Has anyone heared of this guy?

Seen an artical on the War path. They said they were tring to get him to sign with the Chiefs

He played backup to Dave Dickinson, who was a SDChargers 3rd stringer prior to coming to the CFL. The one guy got hurt and Printers stepped up and guy played real well. Made a lot of plays by scrambling and throwing bombs. But thats the style of CFL football. The team made the Grey Cup and they started the other who came healthy. Last year Printers came back disgruntled as a 2nd stringer. The team started 12-0 the next year until Dickinson again got hurt a bit and him and Printers shared duties and struggled the rest of the season.
Printers has some playmaking ability but he might be a Kordell Stewart caliber quarterback at best I think. Not many CFL QBs have made it in the NFL the last few years. Warren Moon was maybe the last one I can remember.
On the other hand, if he can learn to catch and maybe play some wideout he could be used in some trick play situations.

He quit TCU. Has some talent, but I dont want him in KC.

mediocre at best.... maybe some talent, but I wouldn't give up much for him...............................

Nobody would give up something for him. He will just sign somewhere.
