This is not a pro projection, but it ranks the top college players of 2005 and gives stats on each.

It's interesting that they rate D'Brickashaw only 59th.

Also, I know some people disagree, but I still think that Dumervil would be a great pick for us. A college guy that gets 20 sacks in college is going to be good for a dozen in the pros.

What does anyone know about Willie Evans of Mississippi State and Mario Williams of NC State? They also have good production as pass rushers.

Dumervil is a great player. I do think, though, that he will be a linebacker, not a DE in the pros.

I haven't seen Evans, but Williams is impressive. He's big and rangy, reminds me a bit of Kearse, only he weighs a bit more. He's projected to be a top 6 pick though, so probably out of the Chiefs range.

Mario Williams is out of the Julius Peppers mold.
