We're hanging out tonight with some old friends and trying to remember the name of a drink from the 70's (probably even later)....
What was the name used for a drink when you were at a party in HS that evolved from everyone dropping in what they brought. Usually in a large container that everyone then poured from.
The usual ingredients were Everclear, Slow Gin, and then whatever came along afterwards.
HELP, we're 4 drunken hippies trying to remember our youth. :deevee:

Yep, Purple Passion (originally credited to the K State Coeds.
At Wichita State, when we used a base other than grape cool aid, we called it Moose Juice.

I volunteered in a haunted house once. (It was a blast, btw) We had a hidden room where we kept a 5 gallon cooler full of spoli. We dubbed it "Haunted Hooch".

Had it a few times in college, tasted like kool-aid and it went down just as easy.It was only when I got up to walk that my legs went to instant rubber. The real fruit was good, once it had soaked for awhile.

I always mixed 1 pint Everclear, 2- 32 oz. bottles of 7up, 2 oranges, 1 lemon, 1 lime, and some ice.
Hunch Punch.
A few cups of that and you were ready to fight, ****, or wrestle.

Did this in Thailand -- Everclear, Grape Kool-aid and quartered oranges and grapefruit, mixed in a properly sterized galvanized tashcan. The result is Purple Jesus, or PJ.
