View Full Version : You decide: AFC Championship party

Bob Dole

So the day has finally arrived and Bob Dole still can't decide...

Bob Dole received an invitation to attend an afternoon of football viewing at a friend's house. Unfortunately, that friend and most of the attendees are high school classmates of Rod Smith (and will subsequently be rooting for that team with the unspeakable name...).

The potential ramifications should be fairly obvious.

Should Bob Dole attend?

Don't you get enough shit here from that team's fans? Stay Home. Unless the Steelers are up by a lot at halftime then you can go.

think of the potential pleasure should Denver lose...and what's the spread? put up with Bronco fans for Cheetos? no...for ribs? yes.....

That would be the chickenshit way out. Bob Dole will either attend the entire party or not attend at all.

Bob Dole will try to find out about the grub. Though Bob Dole doesn't tend to eat much when he's partaking of the haps and barley, it should probably be part of the equation...

Bob Dole can't get a DUI drinking beer in his house.

Stay home, Denver is going to kick ass and it won't be worth the humiliation going over there.

Throw your own party, Mr. Bob Dole. It's not too late. Call up some friends, make a nice spinach dip, and enjoy a great Bob Dole Afternoon.

I'm an unclear as to why Bob Dole would associate with the likes of pond scum sucking Denver fans in the first place, but I digress.

Bob Dole would be better served to stay home for at least 2 reasons.

Reason #1. If Denver wins, you'll have to restrain yourself from choking the life out of these people as they begin to celebrate their Super Bowl birth.

Reason #2. If Denver loses, you'll have to hear all about the non-calls from the refs that were obviously bought off by Pittsburgh, etc.

Stay home, Bob Dole.

It's also 44 degrees and extremely soggy.

Stay home.
Your friend maybe worth it.

The HS friends of Smith won't be worth the hassle

Sounds good.

Maybe it will be sufficient motivation for Bob Dole to get around to repairing the oven that's been broken for over a year...
