We're drafting a CB, SI say so

Can anyone argue for or against? Is this just a reaction to our coverage woes (real or perceived) or good advice?

I wouldn't be disappointed in Youboty, but I believe Edwards and Cunningham both want to run more of the Cover 2 and I think they'll shoot for a DT or a pass-specialist in the first round.

I can't see us taking a corner when there's going to be much better OT, DE, DT, and S prospects available.

Yup. Like anybody in the national media follows the Chiefs to know what thier specific problems are. It's hard for me to see us taking a CB in the 1st.

Agree. Some of these guys look at our poor dass defense ranking, and assume we must need corners. I think it shows that they don't realy know what's going on with the Chiefs.

Considering our age at S and OL, and our lack of pass rush, I'd say there are a lot more pressing needs than CB. I would be stunned if we took a CB in the first round, unless maybe it's Jimmy Williams and we convert him to FS.

I think Youboty could play cover 2, but part of his strength at corner is that, despite his size, he will get physical. He's also a very good open field tackler for a corner.

We gotta go DT DE, S or OT in round 1. CB just doesn't make sense to me.
