Herm strikes me as another Parcells...a guy who has a trusty list of mostly washed up veterans who will follow him wherever he goes.

Vermeil had his ol standbye McCleon and I'm sure if he left and went somewhere else Hicks would probably be the first one on his list.

Who will be the first Hermadite?

QB- Vinnie
HB - Curtis martin
FB- Richie Anderson (parcells is cutting him so it wouldnt surprise me)
WR- Wayne Chrebet
LT- Jumbo Elliott
C- Kevin Mawae
Cb- Ray Mickens
CB- Abraham
Safety- Lynch

I intentionally left guys like John Abraham off the list.

Id take Curtis Martin as a backup, Jumbo Elliott, Mawea and of course Abraham. Id take Pennington and Law too. Chrebet retired

Herm once made sure Ray Lewis didn't swallow his own tongue during one of his pre-game struts/fits

I'd take just about any of those guys except Vinnie and Chrebet because of age and lack of knowledge of our offensive system.

The more defenders he can bring the better. We still haven't gotten that shift in attitude we wanted over there and it may still take some new players.

Why would we want a weak-armed never-was with a twice-wrecked shoulder like Pennington.

Man you guys are picking the wrong folks!! Here are the qualifications for a hermadite.

1. Must have either talked about retirement or be retired.

2. Must be at the point in his career where no team will give him more then veteran minimum $$.

3. Must have played at least 2 years with Herm.

4. Law and John Abraham don't qualify.

Does everyone think of Hicks as a useless member of the Chiefs? He's solid, and a good run stopper he's just not a pass rusher. I'm glad he's on the team.

He's also the best in the league at handling a record of 1-3. Don't forget that!

Hicks is a good run stopper but that is all.

I think he is very average too be honest.

If your content with an average player, then, I don't know what to tell you.

Personally, I don't settle for average. I like to have solid players at every position. They don't have to be probowlers. Just solid.

My definition of solid is a GOOD player. To me Hicks is not a good player. He's ok. He is good in run support, I agree, and that's it. Not a well rounded player. He does a lot of bad things.

Naa I put his name in there cause I know everyone makes fun of him but honestly I think he's a pretty good football player he just doesn't really need to be in the game on 3rd and long as there are better pass rushers. He outright won a game this year and stepped up big in crucial situations in a couple of more. The first when he busted up that screen pass against Oakland, the 2nd he busted up a short yardage play on 4th and 1 against Oakland and the 3rd against Dallas in what should've been a holding call on 3rd down.

I think Richie Anderson took a runningbacks coaching job with the Jets.
